News to Protect Serendip
Serendip is being gutted by Parks Victoria and urgently needs your help
The community is being hoodwinked into believing that all is OK at the Sanctuary.
But actions over the past year clearly show that Parks Victoria has no intention of protecting the long history and integrity of Serendip as a showcase for breeding and releasing rare and endangered wildlife back into the wild.
Wildlife is being removed and infrastructure is being torn down as we write.
Staff are also leaving.
The Sanctuary is being left to run down and has no funding.
It's a disgrace being noticed by everyone who has visited Serendip recently. There's nothing to see anymore and the place looks like a wreckage.
This contradicts what Parks Victoria told the public it would do at Serendip in the You Yangs Precinct Master Plan (released in February 2022)
